Favorite 2011 Spring Fashion & Beauty

Did you all have a nice weekend? I sure did, I spent some much needed girl-time with my sister in Boston! So now I am back in sunny So. Cal. and the weather is much warmer here! It got me thinking of all the cute spring must haves on my list! I just love the muted, pale romantic look fashion is sporting this year, from pale rose, ivory and bone even taupe, these hues create a sophisticated yet carefree canvas to add splashes of color with cute shoes, accessories and even makeup! Here is a list of a few of my favorites...

Floral is always a go-to for the Spring Season!
However, I love this abstract floral interpretation on these
gorgeous (and comfy looking) Sam Edelman flats.

As we ladies know, a great bag is a must! I think the muted colors
that are so in this season are perfect when selecting your next purse.
I found this Raceway bag at JCrew.

Scarves... Always a great accessory no matter what season we are in!
I am loving PINK soooo much right now, that I had to add this
Rosewater Scarf from Anthro on this post, check it out here.

A bright pop of color on the lips is so much fun! Check out the Chanel collection here.
My favorite is called "Boy" #54

Franco Sarto Shoes are always so comfortable and effortlessly stylish, like they are pictured
here, check them out at Piperlime! I think I have to have these sandals! Don't you love the Ivory-Bone color?

Isn't monochromatic very chic and sophisticated?!? I am loving the
white look for this spring... its so refreshing and lovely. This feminine
outfit can be bought at Anthropologie.

I cannot get enough of this Fedora & Panama Hats!
They make any outfit this spring, instant CHIC!

Spring-Time Inspiration!

Maybe its the warm, sunny weather here today in Southern California, but I've got a bit of Spring Fever! I want nothing more than to be lounging in the sun, dipping my feet in cool water, and sipping on lemonade! I love this season, full of fresh beginnings, the birds & the bees, all the flowers in bloom... So I thought I'd pull together some images of some fabrics, accessories and other photos, to get us all in the mood for this fabulous time of year! What are you doing around your home to freshen it up for spring? Happy Friday! Cheers!

Out with the Old...

Hello lovely readers! I have been a bad blogger this year! But no more! I LOVE blogging and it has been on my mind... Oh how dearly I miss this time of escape, fun, and expression! This year started out a bit crazy, I have been on the mend after developing Carpal Tunnel in December (so typing was really painful) left my former job, started physical therapy, started a new business, and moved! Whew! So to start off fresh with my new blog post, post-craziness, I have decided to include a quote (you know how I love quotes) to bring on a new beginning... after all spring is here right? And isn't this a fabulous time of year, to shed the old, and bring in the new? Enjoy...

"Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles, and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful."
